North Halton Kitten Rescue (NHKR) was founded in July 2011 to rescue stray and abandoned kittens in Halton Hills. Shortly after its formation, the organization expanded its mission to include cats of all ages — ensuring that no feline in need would be left behind.

In partnership with Heroes 4 Wildlife (a nonprofit organization) In Durham Region, injured and orphaned wildlife have a critical place of care — supported through a powerful partnership. Soper Creek Wildlife Rescue (SCWR) is dedicated to the rehabilitation and care of injured, orphaned, and at-risk wildlife in Ontario.

Texas Chihuahua Rescue – Canada is dedicated to saving abandoned, neglected, and at-risk Chihuahuas and Chihuahua mixes from high-intake shelters in Texas. They also accept small-breed surrenders here in Ontario, ensuring local dogs in crisis have a safe place to land.
